Downtown LA Elevator Rescue Completed

On November 16, 2023, at 9:59 pm, a power outage occurred at a 37-story high-rise building located at 1260 S Figueroa St in downtown LA, causing all 14 elevators to stop working. Firefighters immediately responded and thoroughly checked each elevator in the building. They successfully rescued at least 6 people who were trapped due to the power outage. Two adult males who complained of non-life-threatening medical issues were transported to the hospital. Fortunately, the power has been restored and there is no further hazard.
