A national fruit recall has been triggered by a deadly Listeria outbreak. HMC Farms, a California-based produce company, has voluntarily recalled its peaches, plums, and nectarines that have been linked to the outbreak, which has caused one death and 10 hospitalizations since 2018.
The fruits were sold between May 1 and Nov. 15 in 2022 and 2023 across the U.S., both individually and in two-pound bags marked “HMC Farms” or “Sign.”
