2 men dead, 1 injured after shooting shot in South Los Angeles

A few individuals were killed after numerous victims were struck by gunfire in South Los Angeles on Thanksgiving Day.

The incident took place in the 14200 block of Towne Avenue, near Compton and Willowbrook, at approximately 8:20 a.m. according to the LASD.

LAFD said three victims sustained gunshot injuries, and the LASD said two men have died.

The identities of the victims have not been immediately released to the public.

A potential suspect is detained but is not in custody, LASD said.
