Mans Body Found Floating in Hemosa Beach Water

HERMOSA BEACH-Police officials are investigating an alleged crime after the remains of a person were found off the shore in Hermosa Beach on Friday, November 24, at approximately 7:01 a.m.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department was dispatched to the vicinity of 21st Street and The Strand where the body was discovered. floating.

Authorities said a man's body was recovered from beach waters, and the victim had sustained a gunshot injury.

It was not presently unknown if foul play was a factor in the man's death.

HBPD, investigators are working with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Crime Lab and Coroner's Office. No further information is available at this time.

Authorities urge people to stay away from the area.
