Video captures a Battery charger ablaze in a garage of a Garden Grove residence

GARDEN GROVE-Orange County Fire officials issued a notice after residents video captured a fire erupting in the garage of a home Saturday on Santa Barbara Avenue.

According to the OCFA, the blaze started due to a failed lithium-ion battery charger.

The fire was prevented from advancing inside the home. No injuries were reported.

The OCFA warned individuals to never store a battery charging unattended and never leave anything charging in the pathway of an exit.
