If you happen to drive along Sherman Way in Reseda, you might spot construction work going on between Etiwanda and Lindley. This is where the Reseda community ice rink is being built. The installation of utilities has been completed, the concrete structure is almost finished, and the roofing work is currently underway. The steel for the tent structure will be installed in March.
The Reseda community ice rink is a very exciting project, which will become the City's first and only public ice skating rink. It is one of the signature projects for Councilmember Blumenfield's Reseda Rising initiative. This project is expected to revive Sherman Way and turn it into a popular Valley entertainment destination. Stay tuned for more updates on the project.
