According to Officers  During that burglary, numerous rounds were discharged by the victim, and one suspect was shot. The victim's grandmother and a young child were also in the residence during the incident.

Authorities stated it is thought that another suspect was shot due to evidence of a trail of blood, and at least one or two more suspects are involved in the burglary.

Officers recovered a black BMW sedan from the scene, which is said to be the suspect car and may provide additional evidence to aid in locating the suspects.

Officials said once the investigation is finished the report will be submitted to the District Attorney's Office to decide if criminal charges will be filed against the homeowner.
