On December 4 at 1:05 pm, A worker was below grade level working, on December 4, and experienced a fall of approximately 6 feet at 5420 W Sunset Blvd.
The worker sustained an injury and is incapable of climbing up to level ground. Paramedics are now assessing the injured victim. LAFD Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) specialists are at the scene to conduct a basket rescue, to bring the worker to safety.

Update 12-04-2023 2:10 p.m., An approximately 40-year-old male worker was rescued from below ground level after sustaining moderate injuries. Paramedics secured the man to a rigid basket and lifted him to street level for ambulance transport.
