Exposition Park Outside Fire Contained

On December 11th, 2023 at 4:30 pm, a fire broke out at 1149 W 37th Pl in Exposition Park. 

36 firefighters from the LA Fire Department quickly arrived and were able to contain and extinguish the fire, which was threatening a detached garage/shed and a two-story residential fourplex. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. 

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Before the arrival of the firefighters, at 4:13 pm, a preliminary report had been received about the fire, which was described as a large outside fire that was putting a detached garage and a two-story residential fourplex at risk.
