Firefighter injured while battling a house fire in Chatsworth

A firefighter was injured while battling a house fire in the Winnetka area of Chatsworth, CA on Wednesday. The incident occurred on the 10000 block of Lorne Street at around 1:45 p.m.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was called to the scene where they found heavy smoke coming from a one-story home. Firefighters quickly took action to put out the blaze, which took about 25 minutes to extinguish.

During the process, one firefighter sustained a minor injury and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of the injury was non-life-threatening. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
