Man in Clown Mask Apprehended for a Rash of Armed Convenience Mart Robberies in California
A Masked man suspect, identified as Jesse James Swanson, 23, was taken into custody by Riverside Police officials for allegedly perpetrating three armed robberies at Circle K and 7-Eleven marts in Riverside, California while sporting a clown mask.
The crimes transpired on August 26 and September 2 at a Circle K, and on September 7 at a 7-Eleven
Swanson is in custody at the Robert Presley Detention Center, his bail is set at $100,000. he is charged with armed robbery, weapons violations, and possession of stolen property.
Swanson's alledged accomplice, Daniel William Clark, 56, is suspected of being the getaway man, Clark was likewise apprehended on November 15 and faces charges of conspiracy, robbery, and weapons violations.
Clark was booked into the detention center as Swanson, but later let go, according to jail records.
