Video Game Company Activision Blizzard has agreed to pay roughly $50 million to resolve a lawsuit that provoked Microsoft's takeover.

California's Civil Rights Department sued the videogame maker in mid-2021, alleging its administration disregarded multiple staffer complaints of sexual harassment, bigotry, and pay discrepancy.

According to reports, Activision has continually denied the state's charges and said an investigation by its board of directors concluded the issues were inaccurate.
