CITY TERRACE, LOS ANGELES -Two individuals were hospitalized Tuesday after a shooting transpired on the 10 Freeway in City Terrace officers said.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. on the eastbound freeway, near the 710 Freeway interchange, according to CHP. A SigAlert was issued.
Two, male victims, were taken to a local hospital and admitted into surgery, said a CHP spokesperson. The extent of their injuries was not immediately released.
According to authorities, a bullet hole was discovered in the passenger-side door of a white Honda Accord, and no suspects were arrested in connection with the shooting, the incident is being investigated as an alleged car-to-car shooting. A description of the alleged gunman was not known.
Highway Patrol officers searched the area for evidence in the shut-down lanes.
At around 8:30 a.m., all lanes were reopened on the freeway.CHP said.
