Parking structure collapses at a Rolling Hills Estates shopping mall due to heavy rain
Yesterday, heavy rain caused a portion of the facade of a parking garage in Rolling Hills Estates to collapse. The incident took place at the Promenade on the Peninsula shopping mall, and as a result, the parking structure had to be shut down.
Although the video shows large pieces on the ground, firefighters have stated that no vehicles were damaged and no injuries were reported. They also do not believe that the structure has been compromised and have said that only a part of the facade is separated from the structure. Crews are currently working to clear the area.
