Hollywood Hills Hiker Rescued

On December 25th, 2023 at 2:34 pm, a hiker in Hollywood Hills West required rescue services. The LAFD Air Ops team located the injured hiker on the hillside and sent a rescuer to assess her injuries. The patient, an adult female, had fallen and was suffering from a possible ankle fracture. The LAFD Air Ops team will use a hoist operation to transport the patient to the hospital.
