Police investigate shooting in Hollywood, after 2 people are injured

A police investigation is underway after two victims were struck by gunfire and transported to the hospital on Tuesday, January 9. According to police,

The shooting was reported approximately before 8 a.m., on Santa Monica Boulevard and Sycamore Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

One of the injured victims suffered a gunshot wound and is listed in unknown condition. The second individual who was injured, medical condition and type of injury was not immediately released.

Officers are searching for a possible suspect operating a white automobile. The investigation is continuing at this time.
