Downtown Structure Fire Extinguished

On January 10, 2023, at 30 p.m., an Approx 100' x 100' one-story commercial structure caught fire at 1212 S. Olive Street, in Downtown, Los Angeles.

When Firefighters arrived at the scene they observed the vacant building with heavy smoke showing. Upon access and entry fire crews found a storage room filled with building materials on fire, which charred up through the roof in one area and damaged some massive structural components.

68 firefighters extinguish the flames. No one was reported injured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
