Ghislaine Maxwell faces Sentencing For Sex trafficking Charges Tuesday.

News Update:  Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for helping Jeffrey Epstein recruit underage teens to commit sexual abuse.

NEW YORK-Ghislaine Maxwell, 60, goes before a judge on Tuesday for being charged with sex trafficking. Maxwell was found guilty in a court of law in December 2021, of plotting with business and romantic partner Jeffery Epstein.

Federal prosecutors on the case have requested the judge to convict Ghislaine Maxwell 30 to 55 years in federal prison for the crime. 

Sex trafficking of a minor has a maximum of 40 years in prison. Maxwell's attorney plan to appeal maxwell's conviction.
