Hey Parents, The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches & Harbors is SEEKING 3RD – 5TH GRADE ARTISTS!

The deadline to enter our Can the Trash! Clean Beach Poster Contest has been extended to Wednesday, February 14th!

If you know any 3rd to 5th-grade students in LA County who are interested in art, please encourage them to submit their artwork with environmental messages about keeping the beaches and ocean clean. They will have a chance to have their art displayed on beach trash barrels at some of Southern California's most popular beaches, such as Dockweiler, Venice, and Zuma! The deadline for submissions has been extended, and the new deadline is Wednesday, February 14, 2024. This opportunity is open to all 3rd to 5th-grade students in LA County.
